Essen, Germany - Vogelsang GmbH & Co. KG., an agricultural machinery company, unveil a new 12-metre UniSpread applicator and its largest XSplit separator to date at LAMMA, strengthening its portfolio for slurry and digestate handling.
The new UniSpread expands the existing range by adding an extra one-fifth of working width. Designed for farmers and contractors seeking a compact solution for precise slurry application close to crop roots, the system is available with dribble bar or trailing shoe linkage. It features Vogelsang’s proven folding mechanism positioned behind the drum, allowing easy retrofit to tankers of any size.
On display at LAMMA will be the trailing shoe version, showcasing Vogelsang’s DoubleFlow design. DoubleFlow reduces row spacing from 25 cm to 12.5 cm, enabling more accurate slurry placement. The UniSpread also includes two side support wheels for improved guidance, an optional piping kit, and the long-established ExaCut precision distributor.
Alongside the UniSpread, Vogelsang will present the new XSplit XS30-80, the largest model in its separator lineup. With a throughput capacity of up to 175 cubic metres per hour, the XS30-80 is designed for large agricultural operations and biogas plants handling high volumes of digestate or liquid manure.
The XS30-80 features a maintenance-friendly design, including a modular three-part sieve that allows only worn sections to be replaced. Its VarioAdjust hydraulic system enables flexible pressure adjustment during operation, helping to reduce wear and service time compared with conventional screw press separators.
According to Vogelsang, the expanded XSplit range now covers operations of all sizes, from the entry-level Compact model with a capacity of up to 10 cubic metres per hour to the high-capacity XS30-80. Company specialists will be available at LAMMA to demonstrate how Vogelsang’s separators, pumps and applicators can improve the efficiency of slurry and digestate management.
