Hyderabad - Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE)., a construction equipment manufacturer, has strengthened its focus on safety and sustainability in demolition by handing over the EC380DLUHR High-Reach Demolition Excavator to United Saw Services (USS) at Jeedimetla, Hyderabad. As Volvo CE’s most advanced and tallest high-reach excavator, the EC380DL UHR is designed to deliver superior performance, stability, and operator safety on demanding demolition sites.
Equipped with the advanced CR-20 concrete crusher, the EC380DLUHR offers an impressive 23.0-meter reach, enabling safer, quieter, and more controlled demolition with reduced dust, noise, and vibration. It will be used for the strategic demolition of a fire-damaged, three-story building covering 50,000 sq ft in a densely populated urban area. The project requires high precision and reliability, highlighting the critical role of advanced demolition technology in urban infrastructure projects.
The event featured notable speakers, including Sanu George, Market Area Head for South and West at Volvo CE India, and S.N. Vinod Kumar from United Saw Services. Chief guests Mohan Ramanathan, Founder Chairman of the Indian Demolition Association (IDA), and Zaki Ahamed, a prominent structural consultant, also graced the occasion.
