Gothenburg, SwedenVolvo Trucks has secured significant orders from HayWay Group, comprising 80 Volvo VNL trucks for the company’s entry into the U.S. market and 150 Volvo FH Aero trucks for operations in Poland.

HayWay Group, which operates across Europe and the United States, has begun its U.S. operations with a fleet of 80 Volvo VNL 860 sleeper trucks. These vehicles will be used for long-haul freight transport between Southern California and New York for a major online retailer. Vehicle servicing will be handled by Volvo’s largest West Coast dealership group, TEC Equipment – Fontana.

Peter Voorhoeve, President of Volvo Trucks North America, said stated that the order for 80 Volvo VNL trucks represents a bold step into the U.S. market and reflects HayWay Group’s strong confidence in the Volvo brand. He added that the order builds on a long-standing partnership in Europe and underscores a shared commitment to safety, innovation, and long-term growth.

Mr. Artur Lewandowski, Chief Executive Officer of HayWay Group, said that launching U.S. operations with the Volvo VNL aligns with HayWay’s strategy of adopting advanced technologies to enhance safety and performance, supported by the company’s long-standing experience with Volvo in Europe.
