Bengaluru - VST Tillers Tractors Limited., a tractor manufacturer, reported strong sales growth in April 2026, supported by higher demand for power tillers and steady growth in its tractor segment. The company sold a total of 3,483 units during the month, compared to 2,320 units in April 2025, registering a 50.13% year-on-year growth.
The power tiller segment remained the key growth driver for the company. VST sold 3,111 power tillers in April 2026, as against 2,003 units in the same month last year. This represents a strong 55.32% increase. Demand for power tillers continued to improve among small and marginal farmers, especially for operations such as ploughing, weeding, horticulture, vegetable cultivation and other small farm applications.
The company also recorded positive growth in tractor sales. VST sold 372 tractors in April 2026, compared to 317 units in April 2025, marking a 17.35% year-on-year increase. While tractor volumes remained lower than power tillers, the segment continued to show stable performance, supported by demand for compact and small tractors used in horticulture, intercultivation and small farms.
Overall, VST’s April 2026 performance reflects rising rural demand and increasing adoption of small farm mechanisation solutions. The company’s strong presence in the power tiller market helped drive overall growth, while its compact tractor portfolio continued to support steady expansion in the agricultural machinery segment.
