Bengaluru - VST Tillers Tractors Ltd., a tractor manufacturer, posted a strong performance in October 2025, with overall sales rising sharply on the back of robust power tiller demand. The company sold a total of 4,664 units during the month, marking an impressive 89.36% year-on-year growth compared to 2,463 units sold in October 2024.

The surge was led by the power tiller segment, where sales grew 128.66%, reaching 4,077 units in October 2025 against 1,783 units in the same month last year. This sharp uptick underscores the increasing adoption of compact and cost-efficient mechanization solutions among small and marginal farmers.

However, the tractor segment witnessed a modest slowdown. VST sold 587 tractors in October 2025, a 13.68% decline compared to 680 units sold in October 2024, reflecting moderate demand during the festive period.

For the April–October 2025 period, VST Tillers Tractors continued to post strong year-to-date (YTD) growth, particularly in the power tiller category. The company sold 28,906 power tillers, up 51.28% from 19,108 units in the same period last year.

Tractor sales for the seven-month period stood at 3,163 units, slightly lower than 3,279 units sold in April–October 2024, indicating a 3.54% decline.

In total, VST’s combined YTD sales of power tillers and tractors reached 32,069 units, a 43.25% increase from 22,387 units sold during the corresponding period last year.

The company’s continued leadership in the small farm mechanization space and strong demand for its tillers highlight the growing mechanization trend in India’s rural economy. While tractor volumes saw a marginal dip, VST’s overall momentum and market share gains indicate a solid growth trajectory heading into the rabi season.
