Bengaluru - VST Tillers Tractors Ltd., a tractor manufacturer, reported total sales of 3,720 units in August 2026, including 3,387 power tillers and 333 tractors. Compared with 4,499 units sold in August 2025, the company’s overall sales declined by 17.3% year-on-year.
Power tiller sales stood at 3,387 units in August 2026, compared with 4,100 units in August 2025, registering a 17.4% decline. Power tillers continued to contribute the majority of VST’s monthly sales volume despite the year-on-year decrease.
Tractor sales also remained lower during the month. VST sold 333 tractors in August 2026, against 399 units in the corresponding month last year, resulting in a 16.5% decline.
Despite weaker sales in August, VST’s cumulative performance during the April–August 2026 period remained positive.
The company sold 22,638 power tillers between April and August 2026, compared with 21,827 units during the same period of the previous year. This represents a 3.7% year-on-year increase.
Tractor sales, however, declined during the five-month period. VST sold 1,996 tractors during April–August 2026, compared with 2,098 units in April–August 2025, reflecting a 4.9% decrease.
Overall, VST recorded combined power tiller and tractor sales of 24,634 units during April–August 2026, compared with 23,925 units in the corresponding period last year. This resulted in cumulative growth of 3.0%.
The latest sales figures show a mixed performance for VST Tillers Tractors. While both power tiller and tractor sales declined in August 2026, stronger power tiller volumes during the April–August period helped the company maintain positive cumulative growth. Tractor sales remained under pressure during both the monthly and year-to-date periods.
