Wardwizard, XiCon Ink Deal to Deploy 7,500 EVs for Last-Mile Delivery

Vadodara — Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd,(WIML), the EV manufacturer behind the Joy e-bike and Joy e-rik brands, has announced a strategic partnership with XiCon International Ltd., a Mumbai-based engineering and manufacturing company and subsidiary of Kaiser Corporation. The collaboration marks XiCon’s official entry into the electric mobility sector, targeting last-mile delivery solutions through a large-scale lease of electric two-wheelers. 

Under the terms of a detailed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), XiCon has committed to leasing 7,500 units of Wardwizard’s Wolf+ model across FY2025–26 and FY2026–27. The initial deployment will focus on major urban centers including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Pune, with plans to expand nationwide as operations scale. 

The partnership aims to create a cost-effective, smart, and sustainable urban delivery infrastructure by integrating electric mobility into XiCon’s logistics operations. Wardwizard will provide end-to-end support including uptime assurance, service and charging infrastructure, spare parts supply, battery management, and technical support. 

Joint responsibilities include: 

 Both companies will also collaborate on rider training and co-branding service centers and retail touchpoints. Wardwizard will additionally provide demo units to support promotional activities. 

This agreement represents a significant move in Wardwizard’s ongoing mission to build a robust EV ecosystem and deliver scalable green transportation solutions. It also signals a key diversification milestone for XiCon, expanding its footprint beyond power, telecom, and infrastructure into the electric mobility domain.
