Cresco, Pennsylvania – Weiler Inc., a paver manufacturer, has expanded its U.S. commercial paver lineup with the launch of the new P275, a 15,900-pound paver equipped with an 8-foot front-mount screed and a 72-inch track length.
The new P275 sits between the 13,000-pound P195 and the 18,000-pound P285 in Weiler’s commercial paver range, strengthening the company’s offering in the mid-size paving segment. The machine features a 2,100-pound front-mount screed that can be hydraulically extended from 8 feet to 14 feet. Optional heated end gates are also available.
The P275 is powered by a 74-horsepower Cat C2.8 Tier 4 Final engine and uses a three-speed hydrostatic drive system. It offers a paving speed of 180 feet per minute and a transport speed of up to 300 feet per minute. The machine also includes poly pads and a 4.9-inch track chain pitch.
For operator convenience, the paver can be controlled from either side using a sliding control panel with dual electric joysticks or an optional steering wheel. Left- and right-side panels control the feeder system and screed functions, while a full-color display provides key machine information.
The P275 measures 11.7 feet long, 8.5 feet wide and 6.3 feet high. It features a 13-inch main plate depth with a 7-inch extension plate depth. Other key specifications include a 9-inch auger diameter, 150 rpm auger speed and 2,100-pound screed weight.
Earlier this year, Weiler also expanded its compactor range with the CT5 pneumatic-tire roller, which features a 56.5-inch compaction width, variable spray system with a 52-gallon water tank, triple filtration and an LCD display.
