Ohio, USA - Werk-Brau Co., Inc., a heavy equipment attachments manufacturer, has introduced its new Extreme Duty Loader Buckets, designed to deliver enhanced durability, strength, and performance in demanding jobsite conditions.
Built using abrasion-resistant AR400 to AR500 steel, the new buckets are engineered for long service life in harsh environments. They feature horizontal wear strips to minimize wear, while tapered side plates help reduce material buildup and improve dumping efficiency. An inclined bottom design also lowers loading forces, helping reduce stress on the bucket during operation.
According to Werk-Brau, the buckets are built to handle the increased digging forces of today’s more powerful wheel loaders. A reinforced top design improves structural integrity, allowing the attachment to perform reliably in severe conditions without the risk of overloading or premature failure.
The Extreme Duty Loader Buckets are available in capacities ranging from 2.0 to 9.0 cu. yds. and are suitable for digging in virgin soil as well as rehandling abrasive materials with densities of up to 3,200 lbs. per cu. yd.
Manufactured in the United States, the buckets are offered with short lead times and are available in standard sizes to fit a wide range of wheel loader makes and models. Werk-Brau also offers custom designs and capacities through its in-house engineering team, which uses finite element analysis to develop specialized solutions.
The bucket’s cutter bit is made from extreme duty T-1 material, while all major wear components use AR400 to AR500 steel for greater durability. Additional features such as extra-thick cutting edges, a full-bottom wear plate, and side wear plates provide added protection in high-wear areas and help extend overall bucket life.
