Wieluń, Poland- Wielton SA, a manufacturer of tippers and tautliners for tractor units, has received an order from Regesta SA, a comprehensive logistics service provider, for 112 new curtain-sided trailers as part of its fleet expansion plans for 2026. The order includes 90 Coil Master Strong Light SL standard trailers and 22 MEGA versions.
The new trailers are expected to help Regesta expand its operations while improving transport efficiency, operational safety and service quality.
The Wielton Coil Master Strong Light SL is primarily designed to transport coiled steel, while its adaptable body allows the trailers to be used for other types of cargo.
With a tare weight of approximately 6,600 kg in the standard version, the trailer is designed to support efficient transport operations. Its frame is manufactured from high-strength S700 steel and protected with a cataphoretic coating to improve resistance to corrosion and external conditions.
The trailers feature air suspension and an automatically lifting axle with manual control. The standard version has a 9,000 mm gutter length and 2,700 mm internal height, while the MEGA version offers a 9,200 mm gutter length and internal height of up to 3,000 mm.
The vehicles are certified for XL and ECMT requirements, as well as the transportation of beverages, sheet metal and coiled steel.
The new trailers will also feature ABERG Connect telematics, providing access to the ABERG Telematics Portal. The system enables real-time monitoring of vehicle parameters, including tyre pressure and temperature through TPMS sensors installed on the wheels.
Long-Standing Wielton-Regesta Partnership
The partnership between Wielton and Regesta dates back to 1998. Over the years, Wielton has supplied Regesta with more than 1,300 trailers of various types.
The relationship has also involved the development of equipment tailored to Regesta’s operational requirements. One example is the Coil Master Strong Light SL curtain-sided trailer, which Wielton developed in 2021 at Regesta’s request before introducing it into series production.
Mr. Lucjan Krzyk, Fleet Manager at Wielton SA, said the company’s close cooperation with customers enables it to develop solutions suited to the practical requirements of transport operators.
