Wuling debuts Darion, Indonesia’s first EV and PHEV MPV

Jakarta, Indonesia- Wuling Motors Holding Limited (Wuling)., officially launched the Darion “Evolving Family Moments” in Bandung. The event marked another milestone in Wuling’s commitment to electrified mobility, introducing the Darion as Indonesia’s first MPV available in both EV and PHEV variants, designed to meet the modern family’s evolving transportation needs.

Built on the Elegant Streamline Design philosophy, Darion showcases a sleek, aerodynamic, and harmonious look. The PHEV variant features a bold Diamond Cut Grille, while both EV and PHEV models come with X-Shape front and rear lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a Hidden Slide Rail for a refined, modern appearance.

Inside, the 7-seater MPV offers a spacious 2+2+3 cabin configuration — supported by the longest body and wheelbase in its class. The EX variant includes ventilated electric captain seats in the second row and an Autocomfort electric sliding door for effortless entry and exit. The cabin, finished in Walnut Brown or Carbon Black soft synthetic leather, creates an inviting and premium atmosphere for family travel.

The Darion prioritizes safety with a High-Strength Steel Cage Body, six airbags, ISOFIX anchors, and a 360° camera, supported by active systems including ABS, EBD, ESC, EPB, AVH, and TPMS. Technology enhances every journey with a 12.8-inch control screen, smartphone connectivity, wireless charging, electric sunroof, smart electric tailgate, and electric rearview mirror, combining comfort with intelligent convenience.

The Darion comes in two advanced electrification choices:

• EV Variant: Powered by a 150 kW electric motor with the MAGIC Battery Pro, offering up to 540 km (CLTC) of range and DC Fast Charging capability for shorter charging times.
• PHEV Variant: Equipped with the LING Power Hybrid System, pairing a 1,498 cc gasoline engine with a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), delivering a total range of up to 1,000 km, including 125 km (CLTC) in pure electric mode.

Developed on Wuling’s Wonder Flexible Modular System (WFMS) global platform, the Darion integrates advanced technologies such as the LING Power Hybrid System, MAGIC Battery Pro, LING OS, and Level 2 ADAS, ensuring a seamless blend of safety, efficiency, and innovation.
