This 25-ton crawler excavator represents a major step forward in sustainable construction equipment, offering an innovative battery-swapping solution combined with all-day performance.
The XE215EV is a powerful 400 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, delivering up to 8 hours of continuous operation under typical working conditions. In addition to traditional fast-charging, which allows the battery to charge from zero to full in just 1.5 to 2 hours using a high-capacity DC charger, the XE215EV stands out with its battery swapping capability—a feature made possible through collaboration with BYD.
