XING Mobility Unveils IMMERSIO CTC Battery at 2024 Paris Motor Show

Taipei, China- XING Mobility Inc., dprovider of electric vehicle powertrain and battery technology, proudly announces its debut IMMERSIO CTC Battery at the 2024 Mondial de l'Auto (Paris Motor Show) on October 10,2024.

The company will showcase a full range of immersion-cooled battery solutions, including the innovative IMMERSIO Cell-to-Chassis (CTC) battery prototype, which sets a new standard for electric vehicle (EV) power systems. Following the launch of XING’s Paradigm Factory, the world's first production line for immersion-cooled batteries, the company is ramping up production to highlight its innovation and manufacturing expertise.

At the Paris Motor Show, XING Mobility showcased a range of IMMERSIO battery solutions, including the debut of the IMMERSIO CTC battery prototype, which integrates battery cells into the vehicle chassis to enhance space and range. Other highlights include the Hummingbird mobile charging station, developed with Norway’s Nordic Booster, powered by the IMMERSIO XM25 system, and the IMMERSIO XE 50 energy storage system, a high-voltage (1500V) immersion-cooled solution known for its safety and performance in extreme temperatures.

XING Mobility’s patented immersion cooling technology delivers exceptional fire safety, an essential feature amid the rising global demand for electric vehicles (EVs). In contrast to traditional systems, the IMMERSIO™ battery is engineered to actively prevent thermal runaway, a leading cause of EV fires. In 2023, XING Mobility conducted the world's first three-nail penetration safety test on its immersion-cooled battery, showcasing its ability to lower punctured cell temperatures from 1,600°C to below 100°C in under 10 seconds, effectively preventing fires. The IMMERSIO technology ensures longer-lasting, safer batteries that meet the demanding requirements of high-mileage EVs.

By directly integrating the battery cells into the chassis, the IMMERSIO CTC battery increases energy density by over 35%, while reducing vehicle weight and maximizing range.
