Los Angeles, US-  Xos Inc., has announced a multi-million-dollar follow-on purchase order for 12 Xos Hub™ mobile energy storage and charging systems from a leading autonomous fleet operator. The order, valued at approximately $3 million, will support the customer’s charging requirements as it expands autonomous fleet operations across new markets in North America and Europe.

The deal strengthens XOS’s position in the fast-growing mobile energy storage and fleet charging market. As autonomous and high-utilization fleets scale rapidly, grid limitations and long utility upgrade timelines are creating demand for flexible charging solutions. The Xos Hub™ is designed to address this challenge by delivering high-capacity DC fast charging that can be deployed within days, without requiring permanent grid upgrades, complex permitting, or long infrastructure development timelines.

The latest order covers 12 Xos Hub units and expands the customer’s charging capacity across multiple operating regions. It also reinforces XOS’s role as a trusted mobile energy partner for fleet operators that require rapid, reliable, and scalable charging infrastructure.

As the autonomous fleet operator continues to enter additional cities and regions, XOS expects further demand for its Hub units to support future market launches. This creates potential for recurring orders as fleet electrification and autonomous operations continue to expand.

The Xos Hub™ gives fleet operators the ability to electrify new locations quickly and operate independently of utility interconnection delays. This is especially important for fleets that need to scale faster than traditional charging infrastructure can be built.

The order also follows XOS’s first Hub deliveries into Europe earlier this year, demonstrating the product’s ability to operate across different markets, grid conditions, and regulatory environments in both North America and Europe.

Mr. Dakota Semler, Chief Executive Officer of XOS, said the order validates the purpose of the Xos Hub™: delivering reliable power exactly where fleets need it, when they need it. He noted that the grid was not designed for the speed at which high-growth fleets are expanding, and that XOS is focused on closing that infrastructure gap.

Demand for mobile energy storage continues to rise as utilities face increasing load from vehicle electrification, data centers, and extreme weather conditions. For fleet operators, mobile charging solutions such as the Xos Hub™ provide a way to deploy charging capacity immediately, reduce infrastructure bottlenecks, and turn access to power into a competitive advantage.

With this follow-on order, XOS is positioned to support the next phase of fleet electrification and autonomous vehicle expansion while capturing growth in a market where speed, flexibility, and charging reliability are becoming increasingly critical.
