Guangzhou, China – XPENG Motors, an electric vehicle manufacturer, has partnered with Voltron to introduce Indonesia’s first ultra-fast charging facility, offering output of up to 480 kW. Located at Living World Alam Sutera, the new site is aimed at delivering a faster, more efficient charging experience and strengthening XPENG’s customer support through improved charging infrastructure.

he 480 kW system is built to match the capabilities of the XPENG G6 Pro, which supports charging power of up to 451 kW. With this setup, G6 Pro users can charge from 10% to 80% state of charge in under 12 minutes, making daily EV usage more practical and convenient.

Mr. Lawrence Li, XPENG Overseas Charging General Manager, said “XPENG has been exploring the boundaries of AI-powered smart EV technologies, including fast-charging solutions, While the G6 Pro introduced 5C ultra-fast charging battery technology to Indonesia, customers were previously limited by infrastructure. With Voltron’s first 480 kW ultra-fast charging station, we are confident Indonesian consumers can now enjoy the convenience XPENG brings.”

Mr. Andre Soetadji, CEO of Voltron Indonesia, said “This collaboration is an important step for Indonesia’s EV ecosystem. EV growth must be supported by future-ready charging infrastructure. Through this partnership, we aim to develop an open, reliable, and scalable charging network that supports next-generation EVs and a seamless ownership experience.”

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between XPENG Global and Voltron was signed on February 3, 2026, establishing a strategic collaboration to roll out high-performance charging (HPC) solutions for XPENG users in Indonesia. The agreement also sets a co-investment framework to expand HPC infrastructure, with both parties identifying premium locations for new charging sites to improve accessibility and support XPENG’s growth in the market.

As part of the collaboration, Voltron’s network of 400+ chargers will be integrated into the XPENG app, allowing users to locate charging points starting January. Remote start/stop and in-app payment features will be added in the near future. Once launched, XPENG users will also receive special discounts at co-branded stations, enabling a smoother end-to-end charging experience from discovery to payment.
