Bengaluru- India Yamaha Motor., (IYM) a motor cycle manufacturer, has unveiled its first-ever hybrid motorcycle, the 2025 FZ-S Fi Hybrid.
Designed for a perfect balance of style and sophistication, the new FZ-S Fi Hybrid features sharper tank cover edges, giving it a sleek yet commanding presence. A key update includes integrated front turn signals positioned within the air intake area, enhancing its aggressive and aerodynamic appeal.
At its core, the motorcycle is powered by a 149cc Blue Core engine, now OBD-2B compliant, and equipped with Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator (SMG) and Stop & Start System (SSS). These advanced technologies enable smoother starts, battery-assisted acceleration, and improved fuel efficiency by automatically shutting off the engine at idle and restarting seamlessly with a quick clutch action.
Enhancing rider convenience, the 4.2-inch full-color TFT instrument cluster connects with smartphones via the Y-Connect app, featuring Turn-by-Turn (TBT) navigation powered by Google Maps. This provides real-time directions, intersection details, and road names for a seamless riding experience.
The handlebar position has been optimized for added comfort on long rides, while the switchgear layout has been refined for better accessibility, even with gloves. Additionally, the horn switch has been repositioned for ease of use. A practical airplane-style fuel cap, which remains attached during refueling, further enhances convenience.
The 2025 FZ-S Fi Hybrid is available in two striking colors: Racing Blue and Cyan Metallic Grey.
