New Delhi-Yamaha Motor India, an automotive manufacture has unveiled the Yamaha R15M with striking new carbon fibre pattern graphics, priced at Rs 2.08 lakh (ex-showroom). The company also launched an updated version of the R15M in Metallic Grey, which is available for Rs 1.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The carbon fibre pattern is inspired by the R1M’s carbon bodywork and has been applied using modern water-dipping technology.
The new design is prominently displayed on the front cowl, side fairings, and rear panels. The R15M now features a carbon fiber pattern, an all-black fender, refreshed decals on the tank and fairings, and distinctive blue wheels at both ends.
The R15M now comes with refreshed graphics, as well as new features including turn-by-turn navigation and music and volume control, accessible via the Y-Connect App. Riders need to download and install this app on their smartphone to connect and synchronize with the bike. Additionally, the R15M boasts upgraded switchgear, a new LED license plate light, LED lighting, traction control, a quick shifter, a fully digital colour TFT display, and Bluetooth connectivity.
The R15M features a 155cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 18 bhp at 10,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. It is equipped with a six-speed gearbox and includes a quick shifter for smooth, rapid gear changes.
