Chennai -India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt. Ltd., has announced a premium scooter updated Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid, further strengthening its presence in the competitive urban mobility segment and reinforcing its commitment to delivering style-led, technology-driven products for new-age Indian consumers.
The updated Fascino introduces a more compact and contemporary design, aimed at aligning with evolving lifestyle preferences and fashion trends among urban riders. With a refined silhouette and a slightly reduced rear profile, the scooter enhances agility and maneuverability, making it more practical for everyday city commuting.
A key highlight of the upgrade is the redesigned rear section, which features a newly sculpted tail, updated taillamps, flashers, and a distinctive V-shaped lighting signature. These enhancements contribute to a more premium and visually balanced appearance, elevating the scooter’s overall aesthetic appeal.
While retaining its proven performance and fuel efficiency, the Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid now adopts a more refined and modern styling language. Updated graphics and decals further enhance its visual identity. The design improvements have been developed by Yamaha’s India-based R&D team, reflecting direct customer feedback and reinforcing the brand’s customer-centric approach.
Mr. Hajime Aota, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group, said, “the evolution of the Fascino reflects Yamaha’s commitment to adapting to changing customer preferences. He emphasized that the model continues to combine hybrid technology with stylish design, positioning it as a practical and trend-forward urban mobility solution.”
Since its launch in 2015 as a 110cc scooter, the Fascino has undergone several key upgrades. It transitioned to a 125cc fuel-injected model in 2019 and became Yamaha’s first hybrid scooter in 2021 with the introduction of Smart Motor Generator (SMG) technology. Continuous updates in design and features have helped the model stay relevant in a highly competitive segment.
The scooter has also achieved a significant production milestone of 1.5 million units, highlighting strong customer acceptance and sustained demand in the Indian market. With its unisex appeal, stylish design, and urban-focused practicality, the updated Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid continues to target a wide range of riders.
