Yanmar Completes Acquisition of CLAAS India

Osaka, Japan - Yanmar Holdings Co Ltd., an agricultural machinery company, has successfully completed the acquisition of CLAAS KGaA mbH., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, through group company, Yanmar Coromandel Agrisolutions Private Limited. Following the acquisition, the company has been renamed Yanmar Agricultural Machinery India Private Limited (YAMIN).

This strategic move represents an important milestone for Yanmar as expands presence in India’s agricultural machinery sector. It reinforces Yanmar dedication to providing innovative, efficient, and high-quality solutions tailored to the needs of Indian farmers, further solidifying commitment to supporting the growth and modernization of agriculture in the region.

Yanmar Holdings is set to expand its agricultural machinery offerings by introducing wheeled combine harvesters to its product lineup. Leveraging decades of technological expertise and innovation, Yanmar Agricultural Machinery India Private Limited (YAMIN) will manufacture these combines, alongside other advanced agricultural machinery, tailored to meet the diverse needs of both the Indian and global markets.

The production will take place at YAMIN’s state-of-the-art facility in Morinda, Punjab, which is equipped with cutting-edge manufacturing technology to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This development aligns with Yanmar's commitment to supporting farmers with reliable, efficient, and technologically advanced solutions.
