      Osaka, Japan - Yanmar Holdings Co., Ltd., an agricultural machinery company, announced its interim consolidated financial results for the first half of FY2024.

      For the current interim consolidated accounting period, Yanmar reported net sales of 528.9 billion JPY, reflecting a modest increase compared to the same period last year.

      However, ordinary income experienced a significant decline, falling to 27.2 billion JPY, which represents a 38.5% decrease from the previous year. This led to an ordinary income to net sales ratio of 5.2%.

      Net income attributable to the owners of the parent company reached 11.8 billion JPY, marking a significant decline of 59.8% compared to the previous year. Overseas sales totaled 320.3 billion JPY, which represents a slight decrease of 2.1%. Despite this decrease, the proportion of overseas sales remained strong, accounting for 60.6% of the total sales.
