Yokohama India Launches Premium 19-Inch Tyres for Luxury SUVs

Haryana - The Yokohama Rubber CO., LTD., a tyre manufacturer, has introduced 19-inch Made-in-India tyres for premium luxury SUVs. Manufactured at their Bahadurgarh, Haryana facility, these tyres reflect a "GLOCAL" strategy, blending global technology with Indian driving needs. Designed to deliver exceptional comfort, control, and durability, the launch aligns with the surging demand for luxury SUVs in India, which saw a 34% year-on-year growth in FY24.

This move aligns with the growing trend of larger rim sizes and the booming luxury SUV segment in India. In response to the growing requirement, we are also preparing to release 20-inch tyres soon, with our current manufacturing facilities capable of producing tyres up to 24 inches. This reinforces Yokohama’s positioning in the high-end tire market.”

Yokohama India’s new 19-inch Geolandar X-CV tyres offer unmatched performance and sophistication, catering to diverse terrains. Part of the renowned Geolandar series, they join a range that includes highway, extreme all-terrain, and mud-terrain options. With over 3,000 retail outlets nationwide, these locally manufactured tyres further enhance the driving experience for SUV enthusiasts. Yokohama also plans to launch 20-inch tyres soon, solidifying its position in the high-end tyre market.
