Bhopal, India -Yulu, one of India’s leading shared electric mobility technology companies, has expanded its footprint in Central India with the launch of its franchisee-led electric mobility service in Bhopal under the Yulu Business Partner (YBP) initiative. The service has been introduced in partnership with Tezz Mobility, led by entrepreneurs Dharamveer Singh Bhadoriya and Siddharth Jain.
The launch marks Yulu’s ninth partner-led expansion following successful rollouts in cities such as Indore, Kochi, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Vadodara, Kolkata, Chandigarh Tri-city and Coimbatore.
Bhopal’s growing quick commerce, food delivery and e-commerce sectors are creating strong demand for efficient last-mile transportation solutions. However, much of the city’s delivery network still depends on petrol-powered two-wheelers, while access to affordable EV rentals, charging infrastructure and service support remains limited.
Yulu aims to address these challenges through its integrated electric mobility ecosystem, which combines purpose-built EVs, battery-swapping infrastructure and technology-driven fleet operations. The company currently operates nearly 50,000 EVs across multiple cities in India.
In partnership with Tezz Mobility, Yulu has established a city-wide network of Yulu Zones, a centralized operations and service hub, and battery-swapping support through Yuma Energy. The initiative is designed to provide delivery riders with affordable and sustainable mobility while helping Bhopal move toward cleaner urban logistics.
The first phase of operations will focus on high-demand delivery areas including Shahpura, before gradually expanding into Hoshangabad Road, New Market, TT Nagar, Kolar Road and Habibganj.
Mr. Amit Gupta, Co-founder and CEO of Yulu, said “Bhopal represents a strong market opportunity driven by rising delivery demand and a growing gig economy. He noted that the city has more than 45 dark stores and the potential to support nearly 8,000 delivery riders. He added that Yulu’s partnership with Tezz Mobility will help create a scalable and technology-driven logistics ecosystem while accelerating the transition toward EV-based deliveries.”
Mr. Dharamveer Singh Bhadoriya, Co-promoter of Tezz Mobility, said “the company’s previous experience working with quick commerce operators provided valuable insight into the operational challenges faced by delivery ecosystems. He stated that Yulu’s platform will help bring a reliable, affordable and sustainable mobility solution for delivery partners in Bhopal while supporting aggregators in meeting their EV adoption targets.”
Mr. Siddharth Jain, Co-promoter of Tezz Mobility, said “Yulu’s full-stack platform, brand reputation and enterprise partnerships significantly reduced deployment timelines and enabled faster execution. He added that Tezz Mobility aims to transform Bhopal’s mobility ecosystem and eventually develop the city into a model for future expansion markets.”
To support the rollout, Yulu conducted training and onboarding programs for Tezz Mobility’s operational teams and facilitated engagement with strategic enterprise partners.
