Brussels, Belgium- Yutong Bus Co., Ltd, showcased its electric buses, EV Long-Life Tech which achieves same lifespan of vehicle and battery, and Link+ fleet management platform under the theme “Think Eco, Move Green” at Busworld Europe 2025 held in Brussels, Belgium

The brand’s performance was matched by recognition: Yutong collected seven awards for excellence in vehicle performance, safety, and environmental stewardship. The 15-meter U15 captured the prestigious “Grand Award Bus,” ahead of Daimler’s eCitaro and Ebusco’s 3.0 in second and third. The U15 also secured three “Label of Excellence” honors Safety Bus, Ecology Bus, and Design Bus cementing its credentials as a premium urban solution. On the coach side, the T14E won “Grand Award Coach,” with Daimler’s Setra S 515 HD and Yutong’s own IC12E taking second and third, while the IC12E additionally received the “Label of Excellence Ecology Coach.” In digital solutions, Yutong’s Link+ platform earned the Busworld Digital Award Gold Prize, with ZF’s Bus Connect and Bosch’s Secure Central Gateway awarded Silver and Bronze.

Alongside the accolades, Yutong unveiled four battery-electric series tailored to urban trunk routes, intercity operations, and high-end tourism. The 14-meter T14E tourist coach offers 621 or 704 kWh battery options for up to 850 km of range, seating for 61, and an 8.5 m³ luggage compartment. Passenger comfort and accessibility are enhanced with a 360-degree surround sound system, NFC digital key for phone-based access, a continuous damping control system paired with air suspension for adaptive ride quality, and a lift device for passengers with disabilities.

The IC12E, introduced globally as a new standard for electric intercity coaches, emphasizes efficiency and real-world operability. With next-generation high-energy-density batteries, it achieves 0.67 kWh/km under SORT2 conditions, a maximum range of 675 km, and a 25% climbing grade. Fast turnarounds are enabled by liquid-cooled high-power charging: a single charger can deliver 700 A and dual chargers 1,400 A, supporting charges from 12% to 100% in roughly 1.2 hours.

For dense urban routes, the 15-meter U15 sets a high bar with up to 850 km of SORT2 range and capacity for up to 90 passengers. It integrates the Link+ fleet management system to visualize real-time operational data, enabling safer, more efficient service planning and dispatch. The exhibition also saw the debut of the U11DD and U12 city models, broadening Yutong’s European portfolio.

Addressing growing attention to total lifecycle value, Yutong introduced EV Long-Life Tech, an engineering approach spanning battery, motor, and control systems to achieve a 15-year design life or 1.5 million kilometers of total mileage aligning the lifespans of vehicle and battery. Beyond lowering total cost of ownership, the concept aims to reduce carbon emissions, curb dependence on finite resources, and support a more circular economy.

Yutong is extending its technological advantages into operations and services with an end-to-end ecosystem that covers intelligent connectivity, efficient charging, and comprehensive service support. The Link+ platform streamlines “management-usage-maintenance-repair,” helping operators cut costs and improve efficiency. Complementing this, the company’s EnRoute+ service brand is built on eight core commitments spanning service coverage and parts availability.

To support European customers, Yutong has established a central parts depot in France and 16 forward warehouses, forming a two-tier supply network. It operates 32 authorized service stations across Europe staffed by about 90 professionals who provide full-service contracts, mobile maintenance tours, and on-site technical support, ensuring operators can address diverse operational needs with minimal downtime.

From new-energy R&D and manufacturing to full lifecycle services, Yutong says it remains committed to “creating greater value for society.” Looking ahead, the company plans to keep advancing clean, reliable mobility through innovation, delivering for global customers while actively practicing corporate social responsibility with leading products and system-level solutions.
