Brno, Czech Republic – Zetor Tractors., an agricultural tractor manufacturer, has expanded its portfolio with the new Series 5 tractor range, designed for everyday farming, livestock, transport, field and municipal operations.
The new range includes four-cylinder tractors with power outputs from 102 hp to 122 hp. A prototype will be publicly displayed on May 23–24 at Zielone AGRO SHOW in Poland.
Zetor said the Series 5 is aimed at customers seeking a robust, mechanically simple and versatile tractor with strong operating efficiency. The models are powered by Stage V-compliant four-cylinder FPT engines with Common Rail injection and DPF technology.
Compared with the former PROXIMA range, the Series 5 offers stronger construction, higher operating weight, improved hydraulics and increased rear linkage capacity. From summer, the range will include the 5100, 5110 and 5120 models, with outputs of 102 hp, 113 hp and 122 hp respectively.
The 5100 will feature a mechanical 24F/24R transmission, while the 5110 and 5120 will offer PowerShuttle and two-stage PowerShift transmission options with a top design speed of 40 km/h.
The tractors were developed in cooperation with Hattat Traktor, with Zetor focusing on European configuration, testing and service support. Sales are scheduled to begin this summer, ahead of the original launch plan.
