Munich, Germany - Zimmerei Frank., a carpentry company, has become the first recipient of Liebherr’s new 43 K fast-erecting crane. The crane joins the company’s existing fleet of 14 Liebherr cranes, reinforcing a partnership that spans many years and projects.
The Liebherr 43 K is the successor to the well-established 34 K model, which Zimmerei Frank has relied on with great success. A key factor behind the decision to upgrade was the 43 K’s extended hook height of 30.2 metres, an advantage for working in tight inner-city environments like Munich.
Specialising in renovation, extension, and heritage restoration projects, Zimmerei Frank often operates in confined urban spaces. The 43 K’s compact design, extended reach, and advanced features such as the standard Sway Control load-sway assistant make it ideal for these complex conditions, enhancing both safety and efficiency.
The first 43 K crane impressed during a test and inspection at Liebherr’s Biberach facility in late 2024. This purchase not only marks the debut of the model in the market but also reflects the enduring relationship between the two companies.
Mr. Stefan Frank, Owner and managing director at Zimmerei Frank, said, “Zimmerei Frank stands for quality and honest collaboration. We expect the same from our suppliers. Our many years of working with Liebherr is a reflection of this,” explains
The delivery of the first 43 K crane highlights both the strength of the Zimmerei Frank–Liebherr partnership and the growing demand for high-performance, space-efficient lifting solutions in urban construction.
