Changsha, China – Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd., a high-tech equipment manufacturer, has unveiled its latest innovation in agricultural machinery, the DX7004 hybrid wheeled tractor, at the company’s Smart Industry City in Changsha. Designed for large-scale farming, the tractor boasts a peak output of 1,200 horsepower and integrates advanced hybrid drive technology.
The DX7004 is built on a digital chassis and features Zoomlion’s in-house developed core components and smart control systems. Equipped with a dual-motor hybrid powertrain, the machine delivers a rated 700 horsepower and up to 4,500 Nm of peak torque, enabling efficient performance across vast farmland. It can cover approximately 480 hectares in 12 hours of continuous operation, underscoring its productivity for modern agriculture.
Key innovations include a distributed electric drive system that allows stepless field-speed control and an electric motor-driven hydraulic output for precise operation of large-scale implements. The tractor is also fitted with Zoomlion’s proprietary EPiot smart driving system and AOS intelligent operations platform, enabling autonomous driving with centimeter-level precision, even at high speeds.
