Hunan, China – Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd., a construction and agricultural machinery manufacturer, has expanded its African operations by opening a new subsidiary in Casablanca, Morocco.

The new office will strengthen Zoomlion’s support for construction, transport, port, stadium, energy and agricultural projects across North Africa. It will also improve local access to equipment, spare parts and on-site service support.

Zoomlion has operated in Africa since 2007, supplying machinery for major infrastructure projects including Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, Tanzania’s Julius Nyerere Hydropower Project, N’Djamena Stadium in Chad and the Rosso Bridge linking Senegal and Mauritania.

The company said Morocco will serve as a key regional hub as it prepares for the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo in 2026, where Zoomlion plans to showcase flagship products and hold seminars on smart agricultural machinery, precision operations and remote maintenance.

In 2025, Zoomlion’s African revenue increased 157 percent year on year, supported by its localisation strategy and rising infrastructure demand across the region.
