Chennai –Ashok Leyland Ltd of Chennai, a manufacturer of commercial vehicles has launched the AVTR 4220 with 41.5T GCW and AVTR 4420 with 43.5T GCW in 4×2 tractor segment. The tonnage variation achieved based on axle configuration and spacing between axles.

1AVTR 4420 of 43.5T gvw is powered with H series CRS iGen-6 technology develops an output of 200 HP@2400 rpm and Torque 700 Nm@1200-2000 rpm which is mated with 6 speed (6F+1R), 8/9 speed (Optional). The chassis is fitted with Semi-elliptical leaf spring and Non reactive suspension at rear. Cabin Options – Cowl, M Cabin, U Cabin and N Cabin (Sleeper Cabins)
