Chennai –Ashok Leyland Ltd of Chennai, a manufacturer of commercial vehicles has launched the 3-axle 6x2 Tyre Lift Axle truck the AVTR 2620.

The new product is merely an upgrade of the 4x2 (18.5T GVW ) truck with additional lift axle configuration to get advantage of the GVW to 25.5 T.

Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Head - M&HCV, Ashok Leyland, said, “AVTR 2620 with its lift axle configuration offers better TCO advantage to our customers operating in Ecom, parcel and tanker services.”

¹AVTR 2620 of 25t GVW is powered with engine of H series CRS iGen-6 technology develops an output of 200 HP and Torque 700 Nm which is matched with 6 speed gear box. Available in cowl and 3 cabin options, N Cab, U cab, M cab. he N cabin comes with a suspended cab with dampers, suspended driver seat, anti-roll bar in the front, good storage spaces, full metal front fascia, music system, AC & HVAC options.
