National- Aston Martin., the British luxury car manufacturer, has introduced its latest supercar, the Vanquish, to the Indian market. With only 1,000 units produced globally, this model offers exclusivity and luxury to discerning buyers. The Vanquish stands out as one of the few modern sports cars still powered by a V12 engine, delivering a thrilling performance with advanced technology and iconic British craftsmanship.
The new Vanquish is a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine that generates a staggering 835 PS (824 bhp) at 6,500 rpm and 1,000 Nm of torque between 2,500-5,000 rpm. This powerhouse propels the car from 0-100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 345 km/h.
The ZF eight-speed automatic transmission ensures smooth and precise gear shifts, while the electronic differential (E-Diff) and torque-shaping technology optimize power delivery, enhancing both performance and handling. The rear-wheel drive configuration paired with an alloy torque tube and carbon fibre propeller shaft offers a dynamic driving experience.
Striking design with a full carbon fibre body, including the bonnet, doors, and bodysides, ensuring reduced weight and enhanced rigidity. The Matrix LED headlights with auto high beam, daytime running lights, and signature LED taillamps add a modern touch.
The Aston Martin Vanquish features 21-inch forged wheels with Pirelli P Zero (PZ4) tyres, gloss black splitters, sills, and rear diffusers, and a panoramic glass roof, blending sportiness with elegance. Its adaptive damping system (ADS) with double wishbone front and multi-link rear suspension ensures sharp cornering and superior ride quality, while active aerodynamics enhance stability at high speeds.
Aston Martin Vanquish offers exceptional braking with 410mm carbon ceramic front discs (6-piston calipers) and 360mm rear discs (4-piston calipers), supported by ESP, CBC, and TC for enhanced stability. The luxurious cabin features Sports Plus seats with 16-way adjustability and heating, Alcantara headlining, and carbon fibre trim. It boasts a 360° camera system, 10.25-inch TFT touchscreen with Apple CarPlay™, and a 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system. For safety, ADAS includes BSA, RCTA, ACC, LKA, and Traffic Sign Recognition. Despite its power, it maintains efficiency with 13.7 l/100 km fuel consumption (312 g/km CO2) and an 82-litre fuel tank. Buyers can customize their Vanquish with bespoke paint, carbon fibre packs, and tailored interiors.
