Raniganj, West Burdwan- Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), a wholly owned subsidiary of Daimler Truck, has inaugurated a new authorised BharatBenz dealership in Raniganj, West Burdwan district, West Bengal. Operated by Agile Trucking, the dealership strengthens BharatBenz’s network in Eastern India and enhances service support for customers in key industrial and logistics corridors.

The facility is strategically located on NH2, providing easy access to major industrial centres such as Durgapur, Raniganj, and Asansol. These regions witness steady freight movement driven by industrial production, mining activity, railway connectivity, and construction projects, making reliable commercial vehicle support essential.

Spread across 85,000 sq. ft., the 3S facility operates round the clock to ensure faster turnaround times and improved vehicle uptime. It is equipped with 12 service bays, four accident repair bays, and four Mobile Reach Vans to provide quick on-road assistance. With a team of 65 trained professionals, the dealership can service more than 500 vehicles per month, ensuring timely maintenance and repair support for fleet operators and individual customers.

Mr. Rajiv Chaturvedi, President & Chief Business Officer, DICV, said, "that West Bengal continues to be a strategic market for BharatBenz due to ongoing infrastructure development and strong highway connectivity. He added that the new dealership will further strengthen the company’s presence in southern West Bengal and improve overall customer experience. He also stated that BharatBenz currently operates 418 touchpoints across India and plans to expand its network further in 2026, including additional service points in West Bengal and the establishment of a Regional Training Centre in Kolkata to enhance technical training and service standards."

Mr. Vijayakumar K, CEO of Agile Trucking, said, "the new dealership reflects their long-term focus on the region. He noted that with modern infrastructure, skilled manpower, and 24x7 operations, the facility is well-equipped to provide consistent service support and help customers maintain higher vehicle productivity and operational efficiency."
