BMW Launches the New F 450 GS Adventure Bike in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR -BMW Group Malaysia., has launched the all-new BMW F 450 GS, expanding its iconic GS adventure motorcycle lineup with a lighter and more versatile model designed for a broader range of riders. The new motorcycle combines adventure-ready capability with advanced technology, making it suitable for both everyday commuting and off-road exploration.

The BMW F 450 GS is powered by a 420-cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that delivers 48 hp at 8,750 rpm and 43 Nm of peak torque at 6,750 rpm. Paired with a six-speed gearbox, the motorcycle can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.9 seconds and achieve a top speed of 165 kmph.

A standout feature of the new model is BMW Motorrad's Easy Ride Clutch system, which significantly reduces the need for manual clutch operation during most riding situations. Working together with the BMW Shift Assistant Pro, the system enables smooth clutchless upshifts and downshifts, enhancing both comfort and riding convenience.

Built on a steel frame, the F 450 GS adopts BMW's latest GS styling, featuring the signature front beak, an LED headlight with an "X"-shaped daytime running light, a slim rear section, and a lightweight aluminium swingarm. The motorcycle also comes with a standard two-piece seat and removable rubber footrest inserts, offering flexibility for different riding conditions.
