Tennessee, USA - Bridgestone Americas, Inc., a tires manufacturer, launches the 27.00R49 V-Steel Rock Deep Ultra (VRDU) aggregate tire at the Aggregate Academy & Expo/AGG1 in St. Louis, Missouri.
As the first aggregate tire designed with the company’s MASTERCORE technology, the VRDU sets a new benchmark for tire longevity in the segment. The Bridgestone MASTERCORE VRDU, built for rock surfaces, comes in four specialized compounds tailored for quarry operations.
The new Bridgestone MASTERCORE VRDU tire is designed for dump trucks, offering several key features. Its tread pattern is 35% deeper, enhancing traction on rocky terrains and improving stability. The deeper tread, combined with cooling slopes and center grooves, extends tire life by 26% compared to the Bridgestone VRLS2. Additionally, its proprietary casing, built with MASTERCORE technology, incorporates a wide belt package and advanced rubber compounds, increasing load capacity by up to 10% over conventional Bridgestone tires.
At AGG1 from March 25 to 27, Bridgestone will showcase its Engineering Solutions services and digital products featuring the latest OTR technology. Designed to enhance aggregate operations, this technology aims to help fleets maximize efficiency and achieve more with less.
Mr. Rob Seibert, President, off-the-road, Bridgestone Americas, said, “Bridgestone's MASTERCORE technology epitomizes how our company helps contractors move more with less. With the new 27.00R49 MASTERCORE VRDU, we're adapting our proven technology from the mining segment to the aggregate industry, offering enhanced durability, performance, and value across a wider range of applications.”
