Turin, Italy - CASE Construction Equipment., a brand of CNH Industrial N.V. and a construction equipment manufacturer, has significantly bolstered its mini excavator lineup with the launch of four new models designed for ease of transport, intuitive operation, and maximum versatility in confined and demanding jobsite environments. The expansion includes three diesel-powered D Series models and one all-electric model, reinforcing CASE’s commitment to offering efficient and powerful solutions for today’s compact equipment needs.
CASE's new mini excavators - CX12D, CX19D, CX25EV, and CX60D - combine class-leading power with compact, transportable designs ideal for tight urban or remote jobsites. Ranging from ultra-compact to heavy-duty, they offer efficient solutions for tasks like trenching, grading, and land clearing. Featuring zero or minimal tail swing, intuitive controls, and easy maintenance, all models support versatile attachments via dual auxiliary hydraulics and optional quick couplers.
Mr. Terry Dolan, Head of CNH Construction Brands, North America, said, "Labor shortages, close-quarter environments, more stringent jobsite requirements - the challenges crews are up against today are more varied than ever. Helping crews meet the demands of the modern worksite is what drives our practical approach to innovation, and it’s why we’ve focused heavily on enhancing our robust lineup of mini excavators to offer the most efficient solutions. These new models deliver big on power, but they’re also easier to transport, move around the jobsite, operate, maintain and own, compared to larger machines.”
At the smallest end, the CX12D weighs just 2,932 lbs (1,330 kg), making it ideal for extremely tight spaces and light-duty jobs. Its compact design allows for easy movement through gates and around obstacles, while maintaining full compatibility with a variety of attachments. Designed for cost-efficiency, it features low operating costs and excellent fuel economy.
The slightly larger CX19D, with an operating weight of 4,145 lbs (1,880 kg), offers greater power and performance within a similarly compact footprint. Available with either a canopy or heated cab, the CX19D features ergonomic design and responsive hydraulic controls, and supports specialized attachments such as hammers, augers, compactors, and tilt-rotators.
The CX25EV, CASE’s newest electric mini excavator, provides the same performance as its diesel equivalents but with zero emissions and reduced noise. Weighing in at 5,159 lbs (2,340 kg), the 32.3 kWh machine is built for sensitive environments where emissions and noise must be minimized. With up to three auxiliary hydraulic circuits and advanced electrohydraulic control customization, the CX25EV delivers the next level of precision and adaptability.
For larger tasks and longer days, the 6-ton CX60D mini excavator combines heavy-duty performance with premium operator comfort. Weighing 13,162 lbs (5,970 kg), this machine features a long arm and a thumb-ready design, plus an optional six-way blade for high-precision grading and leveling. The automotive-style cab includes an air-suspension seat, auto heat and A/C, full LED lighting, and an LCD display for health monitoring and customizable controls.
These new models join CASE’s existing D Series mini excavators, such as the CX42D and CX50D, expanding the company’s offerings across a broader range of jobsite needs and price points. The result is a comprehensive and competitively priced product family that offers contractors and rental businesses strong value and high return on investment.
