Racine, Wisconsin - CASE Construction Equipment., a subsidiary of CNH Industrial and a construction machinery manufacturer, has expanded its E Series full-sized crawler excavator lineup with the launch of two new short-radius models: the CX145E SR and CX255E SR.
The CX145E SR is a 15-ton excavator powered by a 105-horsepower engine, while the CX255E SR is a 27-ton machine delivering 160 horsepower. Both models are designed for work in confined jobsites, offering strong digging performance, compact dimensions and smooth machine control.
The new excavators feature CASE Assist and Payload controls, including bucket payload weighing, height and depth alarms and dynamic stability assist. The system displays roll and pitch angles and helps reduce machine rocking during dumping operations.
CASE has also improved hydraulic performance with customizable flow balance for arm-in, boom-up and swing functions. Selectable free-swing functionality adds stability and safety when lifting loads, working on uneven ground or loading trucks.
Operators can choose from four work modes: Super Power, Power, Eco and Lifting. These modes help match machine performance to jobsite requirements while supporting fuel efficiency and control.
The models also include CASE telematics with a bidirectional modem for two-way communication. This enables remote diagnostics, assistance and software updates to support predictive maintenance and reduce downtime.
Operator comfort has been upgraded with a new spacious E Series cab, a 10-inch LCD display, ergonomic controls, a high-back seat and reduced vibration during tracking. CASE says the improved cab environment is designed to reduce fatigue during long working hours.
