Continental launches CrossContact A/T² in India

Hanover, Germany- Continental AG., a tyre manufacture, has launched its new all-terrain tyre, the CrossContact A/T², the tyre was unveiled at Continental Tires Track Day 2026 at Dot Goa 4X4.

Developed for 4x4 and utility vehicles, the CrossContact A/T² is aimed at customers who want strong off-road capability without compromising on-road comfort and performance across India’s varied driving conditions. The launch reflects Continental’s growing focus on the Indian market and its expansion in the 4x4 segment.

Mr. Samir Gupta, Managing Director, Continental Tires India, said the 4x4 segment is expanding rapidly as interest in adventure and long-distance travel grows. He added that India being the first market to introduce the CrossContact A/T² highlights Continental’s commitment to offering solutions tailored to Indian road conditions.

Engineered for use on mud, gravel, sand, wet highways, and rocky trails, the tyre features a BlackPaw compound to retain elasticity across temperature ranges, self-cleaning shoulders to clear debris, rigid tread block geometry to enhance braking and reduce hydroplaning, and reinforced sidewalls for higher resistance to cuts and abrasions.

The CrossContact A/T² is available via Continental’s authorised dealerships and 200+ brand stores across India, in sizes from 215/70 R15 to 285/60 R18, covering a wide range of SUV and 4x4 models.
