Chennai, Tamil Nadu -India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd., has launched the FZ-Blue Flex motorcycle in India. The new model introduces flex-fuel technology to Yamaha's FZ lineup and is designed to support sustainable mobility by operating on ethanol-blended fuels ranging from E20 to E85.
Mr. Hajime Aota, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group, said, "The launch of the FZ-Blue Flex marks another important milestone in Yamaha's sustainability journey. The new flex-fuel technology aligns with India's biofuel initiatives while offering customers a practical and environmentally friendly mobility solution."
The FZ-Blue Flex is powered by a 149cc air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that produces 8.6 kW of power and 12.8 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. It features front telescopic suspension, a rear swingarm suspension, and ABS for improved riding comfort and safety.
The motorcycle also comes equipped with a full-LED projector headlamp, LED tail lamp, sculpted fuel tank, sporty styling, and a single-piece seat. The FZ-Blue Flex will be available in Metallic Black through select Yamaha Blue Square dealerships across India.
