Moline, Illinois - Deere & Company., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, will showcase its 500R self-propelled sprayer for the first time at Cereals 2026, taking place at Diddly Squat Farm in June.
The 500R, unveiled in 2025, will feature in the Sprays and Sprayers Arena demonstrations and will also be displayed alongside the 300M and R975i on the John Deere stand.
Designed for large arable farms and contractors in the UK and Ireland, the 500R focuses on cab comfort, spray accuracy, droplet quality and precision telematics. The range includes the 550R with a 5,000-litre tank and the 540R with a 4,000-litre tank. Both models are available with 30m or 36m steel boom options.
John Deere said the new sprayer combines a bold design with advanced technology to improve performance while making daily operation easier.
Mr. Chris Wiltshire, John Deere’s tactical marketing manager for the UK and Ireland, said, “The company will have more product news to share before the event, adding that there will be several very good reasons.”
Alongside the 500R, John Deere will display its X9 combine, 6M and 6R tractor ranges, and other product innovations. Visitors will also be able to learn more about See & Spray technology and the subscription-based Precision Essentials package.
