Moline, Illinois - Deere & Company., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has expanded its compact equipment attachment portfolio with the launch of the MB60 Material Boom, a new attachment designed for skid steers, compact track loaders and compact wheel loaders.
The MB60 is built to help operators lift, move and place heavy or irregularly shaped materials with better control, especially in tight or hard-to-reach job site areas. The attachment is suitable for applications such as landscaping, general contracting and nursery operations, where traditional buckets, forks or grapples may not provide the required precision.
The new material boom offers a rated lifting capacity of up to 6,000 pounds, making it suitable for a wide range of lifting tasks. It also features dual hook points, allowing operators to adjust rigging based on the size, shape and balance of the load.
When fitted to compatible John Deere compact machines with the correct coupler interface, the MB60 improves manoeuvrability and supports accurate material placement in confined spaces. The attachment also includes serrated steps to provide stable footing for operators while entering and exiting the machine.
According to John Deere, the MB60 Material Boom is designed to make challenging lifts easier and more manageable while giving operators greater confidence during precision placement work.
Ms. Emily Pagura, marketing manager, John Deere, said, “The MB60 Material Boom is designed to make difficult lifts feel more manageable. It offers versatility and helps operators execute precise placement with greater confidence.”
