Moline, Illinois – Deere & Company., an agricultural equipment manufacturer, has introduced its next-generation 8R, 8RT and 8RX tractors, designed to improve productivity, efficiency and operator comfort for large farms.
The updated range includes 8R wheeled tractors from 280 to 410 hp, while 8RT and 8RX track models are available from 310 to 410 hp. Powered by the 9.0-litre PowerTech JD9 engine, the tractors offer strong drawbar performance for heavy field work, seeding, PTO applications and transport.
The flagship 8R 410 delivers up to 20% more drawbar power. The new CommandView 4 cab adds soft-close doors, push-button start with PIN protection, wireless phone charging, a 320° wiper and redesigned CommandARM controls. On 8RX models, cab changes increase legroom by 15% and improve implement visibility by 20%.
The tractors come precision-ready with integrated receiver technology, G5Plus CommandCenter display and JDLink connectivity. Features include AutoTrac Turn Automation, AutoPath, variable rate and depth control, passive implement guidance and wireless data transfer through John Deere Operations Center.
John Deere has also improved efficiency with eAutoPowr transmission, Central Tyre Inflation System and reduced ground pressure options. Maintenance is supported by ground-level service checks, sensor alerts and up to 2,000 remote diagnostic data points.
The new 8 Series tractors are also ready for future retrofit with John Deere autonomy technology.
