MOLINE, Illnois – Deere & Company., an agicultural machinery manufacturer, has introduced two all-electric additions to its Gator lineup: the Gator GX and GX Crew, designed for residential and rural property owners tackling light-duty tasks.
The new models are aimed at transporting people, hauling equipment, and moving landscaping materials, offering a quieter and more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional gasoline-powered utility vehicles.
Mr. Eric Halfman, John Deere go-to-market manager, said, “The Gator GX lineup gives property owners the chance to boost productivity with less noise, lower maintenance, and increased versatility. These vehicles combine comfort, durability, and convenience, delivering the trusted performance expected from a John Deere Gator.”
Both models feature a 51-volt lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 5.376 kilowatt-hours, providing smooth acceleration, instant torque, and a quiet driving experience. The battery fully charges overnight and powers the vehicles to a top speed of 19.5 mph.
The Gator GX and GX Crew can carry up to 800 pounds of cargo and tow up to 1,500 pounds. An optional cargo box mat offers added protection and slip resistance, enhancing the utility and durability of the UTVs.
