Moline, Illinois - Deere & Company., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has equipped its new F8|F9 Series self-propelled forage harvesters with the Kemper 400Pro Multicrop header, designed to enhance driving comfort and efficiency across diverse crops.

At the core of the new header are the optional ComfortRide and ComfortProtect systems, which, along with the existing Comfort Wheel, improve stability and operator comfort. A centrally positioned integrated transport wheel features a large diameter and wide contact surface for optimal load absorption, weight distribution, and 360° rotation for improved maneuverability. Switching between transport and harvest modes can be done in just 30 seconds from the cab.

The header also includes hydraulically driven side knives for smooth multi-crop harvesting, even in dense or entangled crops. An upgraded lighting package supports operations in low-light conditions, while simplified maintenance and extended service intervals help reduce downtime and operating costs.

Mr. Philippe Steinmann, Go-to-Market Manager Europe at John Deere, said, “The new Kemper 400Pro header on our F8|F9 forage harvesters delivers a practical, high-performance solution for European farmers. Enhanced driving experience, multi-crop capability, and automation allow operators to achieve more capacity with less effort.”
