Moline, Illinois - Deere and Company., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has introduced its new L-III wheeled feller bunchers, designed to improve operator comfort, productivity, and situational awareness in forestry operations. Building on upgrades to the L-III skidder range earlier this year, the machines feature new cameras, advanced lighting, and connectivity tools to simplify tough work.
The machines offer updated comfort-focused features, including base and premium cab options, premium lighting, and enhanced connectivity. Standard precision technologies like TimberMatic Maps help optimize machine and operator efficiency.
Remote Display Access (RDA) allows dealers and support personnel to view and interact with the machine’s display remotely, reducing downtime. A standard secondary in-cab display shows the camera feed in near real-time, improving visibility outside the machine. LED lights are standard, while a premium lighting package adds high-beam, grille, and service lights, boosting output by up to 200% for low-light conditions.
Mr. Matt Flood, John Deere product marketing manager, said, "The L-III wheeled feller buncher models deliver an exceptional experience for our customers, giving them both reliable, quality machines they can perform with, and the tools needed to work more efficiently in the woods. With strategically designed productivity features, connectivity capabilities, and an all-around impressive operator experience, we're confident our customers will feel ready to tackle any job head-on."
With these enhancements, John Deere aims to provide forestry professionals durable, smart machines that improve performance and operator experience.
