The 500R delivers precise spraying with technologies like PowrSpray, ExactApply, and BoomTrac Pro 2. PowrSpray adjusts flow in seconds for consistent application, while ExactApply controls each nozzle for optimal droplet size and coverage. Turn compensation and a multi-meter feature ensure accurate treatment across the boom. BoomTrac Pro 2 maintains ideal boom height using sensors and an IMU, while a stiff center frame and dampening system boost stability, reduce drift, and support faster field speeds.
At the core of the 500R is John Deere’s CommandDrive variable-speed hydrostatic transmission. This system delivers infinite speed control and consistent traction by powering each of the four wheels with independent variable-speed motors connected to heavy-duty planetary final drives. These motors automatically adjust power distribution based on terrain and weight, ensuring maximum grip and stability at all times.
