Moline, Illinois - Deere & Company., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has unveiled the 500R flagship sprayer, engineered for precise application, operator comfort, and reliable performance across challenging field conditions. This new model brings cutting-edge spray control technologies, advanced boom stability systems, and a premium cab environment together in one versatile package.

The 500R delivers precise spraying with technologies like PowrSpray, ExactApply, and BoomTrac Pro 2. PowrSpray adjusts flow in seconds for consistent application, while ExactApply controls each nozzle for optimal droplet size and coverage. Turn compensation and a multi-meter feature ensure accurate treatment across the boom. BoomTrac Pro 2 maintains ideal boom height using sensors and an IMU, while a stiff center frame and dampening system boost stability, reduce drift, and support faster field speeds.

At the core of the 500R is John Deere’s CommandDrive variable-speed hydrostatic transmission. This system delivers infinite speed control and consistent traction by powering each of the four wheels with independent variable-speed motors connected to heavy-duty planetary final drives. These motors automatically adjust power distribution based on terrain and weight, ensuring maximum grip and stability at all times. During road transport, Auto Mode lowers engine speed to just 1,350 RPM, reducing fuel consumption and cabin noise for a smoother ride.

The fully pressurized Category 4 cab keeps operators safe from chemicals while offering enhanced comfort and control. It features clear boom visibility, an intuitive CommandArm layout, and a multifunction joystick for easy operation. The upgraded G5Plus CommandCenter delivers faster performance on a larger 1080P screen with a user-friendly satellite-style interface. Ample storage and seamless connectivity with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto add to operator convenience.
