Walldorf, Germany - Deere & Company., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has launched its latest generation of fixed and variable chamber round balers, engineered for greater performance, advanced automation, and seamless connectivity. With improved productivity and user-friendly features, the new balers aim to offer farmers more efficient and reliable baling solutions.

John Deere’s new round baler range features full ISOBUS compatibility for seamless integration with the John Deere Operations Center, enabling real-time bale monitoring and syncing of key data like count, size, location, and moisture. An optional moisture sensor alerts operators to deviations, supporting dry-matter mapping and precise record-keeping.

The V452R and V462R models now offer 15% more driveline power and 8% higher productivity. Their new weave automation system with a flexible drawbar and active hitch ensures precise tracking along straight and curved windrows. Additional upgrades include a 3-second fast bale release and a double-belt system that boosts bale density by 7% to 140 kg/m³.

John Deere’s C442R, C452R, and C462R wrapping balers, built for silage, now offer an optional on-the-go weighing system with load cells on four rollers and a 40-rpm wrapping arm, ensuring high output without delays. ISOBUS AUX-N support lets operators control key functions via the CommandPRO lever. The compact V452M and V462M models feature a 10% driveline power increase for up to 8% more productivity and include rough-surfaced endless belts for better net feeding in damp conditions. Shared upgrades across the range include hydraulic knife engagement, a G5e touchscreen, automated bale unloading, extended greasing intervals, auto chain lube, and easy service access.

Mr. Philippe Steinmann, Product Marketing Manager Europe at John Deere, said, “With this new generation of round balers, we’re delivering more than just power and productivity. We’re giving farmers a smarter, more connected baling experience, one that combines automation, precision, and exceptional comfort to help them get the most out of every field and every bale.”

This latest lineup from John Deere represents a leap forward in baling technology, delivering performance, efficiency, and intelligence tailored to modern agricultural demands.
