Moline, Illinois - Deere & Company., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has expanded its compact excavator lineup with the launch of the 17 P-Tier and 26 P-Tier models, designed with direct operator input to enhance versatility, productivity, and maintenance ease on construction and landscaping job sites.

The new models feature single or dual auxiliary options, allowing operators to use multiple attachments such as augers, compactors, and other hydraulic tools. A thumb-ready bracket comes standard, and a mechanical fixed pin coupler is available for quick attachment changes. Additionally, wedge-style adapters ensure compatibility with older Deere attachments, helping operators reduce conversion costs. A long arm option provides extra dig depth and reach while maintaining strong lift capacity, ideal for complex or confined jobs.

Maintenance and machine management have also been improved. Both models come with standard battery disconnects to protect battery life, and a 500-hour service tracker in the monitor alerts operators of upcoming maintenance. JDLink™ telematics comes factory-installed, sending critical machine data to the John Deere Operations Center™, helping contractors monitor location, health, and uptime while preventing theft.

The 17 P-Tier and 26 P-Tier are covered by a two-year/2,000-hour standard warranty, with extended options available. Backed by John Deere’s extensive dealer network, operators can access certified technicians, parts, and support for streamlined service and upkeep.

Mr. Justin Steger, Product Marketing Manager, John Deere, said, “Each construction and landscaping job site is different, and some require more versatile equipment options. The redesigned 17 P-Tier and 26 P-Tier compact excavators meet the growing demand for powerful machines that perform in tight spaces, offering both productivity and enhanced operator experience.”

With these additions, John Deere strengthens its compact excavator portfolio, delivering machines that combine power, flexibility, and smart features for modern job sites.
