Moline, Illinois – Deere & Company., an agricultural equipment manufacturer, has introduced its latest model year 2027 6R Series tractors, designed to combine big tractor strength with the agility and efficiency of a midsize utility tractor.

The updated 6R lineup includes four frame sizes and 15 models, covering power ratings from 110 hp to 260 hp. Built with full-frame construction, the tractors are designed to deliver stability, durability and reliability for heavy fieldwork, loader applications and mixed farm operations.

According to John Deere, the updates give farmers and ranchers more flexibility to handle demanding jobs without moving into a larger tractor class. Several large and extra-large frame models receive power increases of 5–10 hp, while new models include the 6R 180, 6R 200, 6R 220 and 6R 240 in the large-frame range, along with the 6R 230 and 6R 260 in the extra-large frame category. Small- and mid-frame models remain unchanged.

Operator comfort has also been improved with an updated cab offering better visibility, added foot pegs and increased seat swivel to make rear implement monitoring easier. The CommandArm with CommandX controls is designed to simplify operation and reduce fatigue during long working hours.

John Deere has also enhanced steering and suspension performance. Reactive steering provides a more automotive-style feel, especially during transport and frequent turning, helping the steering wheel return to centre with less play at higher speeds.

With added power, improved comfort and easier operation, the updated 6R Series aims to give farmers a versatile tractor solution for field, loader, transport and utility work.
