Moline, Illinois - Deere & Company., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has introduced new operator assistance features and performance enhancements across its 900 M-Series Tracked Feller Bunchers, 900 MH-Series Tracked Harvesters, and 900 ML-Series Shovel Loggers.
To boost productivity, the 900 M-Series now features a standard Dedicated Travel System for greater efficiency. The new Return-to-Level function and upgraded undercarriage enhance durability and stability, improving operator experience across various job sites.
Mr. Jim O'Halloran, Global product marketing manager at John Deere, said, "These performance and functionality enhancements are driven by ongoing customer feedback, which we continuously integrate into our machines. The updated operator features and improvements on our 900 Series models empower operators to maximize efficiency with simplified functionality, for exceptional productivity."
The Dedicated Travel System separates travel functions from boom and swing operations, preventing interference and ensuring smoother movement. It optimizes power balance, allowing operators to prioritize tasks as needed. Standard on the 859M, 953M, and 959M Feller Bunchers and the 959ML Shovel Logger, it remains optional on select 853M, 903M, 859MH, and 959MH models.
John Deere's new one-touch Return-To-Level feature simplifies leveling adjustments with a push-and-hold joystick function. Integrated with the proven Slope Monitoring system, it enhances operator focus by displaying real-time terrain slope. Available as the optional Slope Management System, this upgrade is offered for all 800 and 900 Series leveling feller bunchers, harvesters, and shovel loggers.
All 800 and 900 Series leveling feller bunchers, harvesters, and shovel loggers now feature upgraded leveling cylinder pin joints with larger pins, tighter tolerances, and improved grease paths for better durability and performance. Additionally, track frame steps on all 800 and 900 undercarriages are now welded with reinforced gusseting for added strength against impact.
