Mexizo- Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., an Italian manufacturer of luxury sports cars and SUVs, debuted the new Lamborghini Urus SE, the first plug-in hybrid Super SUV, in Mexico City at a private event in Atrio Santa Fe. Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann, alongside Federico Foschini and Andrea Baldi, welcomed VIP guests, customers, and fans to experience the groundbreaking SUV firsthand.

Mr. Stephan Winkelmann, Lamborghini CEO, said, “Given the strong demand for the Urus in Mexico, it was important to personally bring the new model here to engage with our valued clients.  Mexico consistently demonstrates a strong appreciation for innovation through its purchasing behaviors. This makes the Urus SE’s advanced hybrid technology an ideal fit for the country’s ever evolving and dynamic preference

The new Lamborghini Urus SE starts at $300,000 USD, and customers can now configure their vehicles through the Ad Personam customization program. Deliveries will begin in Q2 2025.

By the end of 2024, Lamborghini became the first super sports car manufacturer to offer a fully electrified lineup, including the Urus SE, Revuelto, and the upcoming Temerario, successor to the Huracán. The Urus SE features a bold new design, improved aerodynamics, advanced onboard technology, and an 800-CV hybrid powertrain with an 80% reduction in emissions. Its twin-turbo 4.0L V8, combined with a 25-kWh lithium-ion battery, delivers a 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 312 km/h. The integrated permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor enhances performance and enables a fully electric 4WD mode with a range of over 60 km in EV mode.
