Luxembourg, Germany – MAXAM Tire., a specialty tyres manufacturer, has received the prestigious “DLG Approved seal of quality” from the German Agricultural Society (DLG) for two of its AgriXtra XL tyres. The VF version earned additional recognition for soil protection, highlighting its contribution to higher overall productivity.

The awards were officially presented at the Agritechnica tradeshow in Hanover, Germany, by DLG Vice President Prof. Till Meinel and Martin Hanstein, Head of Vehicle Technology and Performance Testing at DLG Test Service GmbH.

The tyres underwent rigorous testing last year at the DLG Test Center for Technology and Operating Supplies, including field trials, road tests, and dynamometer lab evaluations. Both the MAXAM AgriXtra XL VF and standard tyres in sizes 600/70R30 (front axle) and 710/70R42 (rear axle) delivered strong performance in key categories: resource conservation (soil compaction for VF models), fuel efficiency, and traction.

Mr. Harry Wang, General Manager of MAXAM Europe, said, “The DLG recognition confirms our commitment to optimized tyre performance. Our AgriXtra XL tyres, in both VF and standard designs, demonstrate how advanced engineering can help farmers reduce fuel costs, improve productivity, and protect soil—what we call smart performance.”
